Description
Mammillaria lauiSN|11877]]SN|11877]] subsp. dasyacantha is a beautifully spined species that can be distinguished from other forms of the Mammillaria lauiSN|11877]]SN|11877]] complex because it has numerous, very slender central spines, all spines soft, white and flexible. It flowers freely in spring with a second, even third flush later in the year. In time it cluster to form large clumps 6 to 15 cm (or more) cm across and has deep pink flowers.
