Pyrrhocactus andreaeanus (= Eriosyce andreaeanaSN|15]]SN|15]]) is a controversial species with several synonyms, creating a taxonomic nightmare and the name after several vicissitudes has been replaced by R.Kiesling with Pyrrhocactus kattermannii in 1999
