Xerophyte

Description

This is one of the innumerable crested clone of Echinopsis found in cultivation, most of this cristates are hybrid and have not received any formal name.

Spines

Short bristly, creamy to greyish-white all quite similar in shape.

Stem

The beautiful crested form, here described, (Clone A) has stout medium sized fan-like stems, it can form in age a large convoluted mound and can reach a considerable size (up to 40 cm in diameter, or more).

Areoles

Small roundish, greyish-white felted.
