Roots
Napiform, bundled and swollen.
Tubercles
Irregular pyramidal quadrangular or rhomboid to 5 mm long, 4 mm wide. forming 13 to 21 tubercled ribs.
Flowers
Up to 24 mm wide and 25 cm in diameter, funnel form whitish-yellow coloured with purplish midribs and lighter margins.
Stem
Flattened globular tapering below, 50 mm high 60 mm wide with a woolly apex. Olive green becoming corky and light brown at the base as it ages.
Radial Spines
11-16 white rigid, radiating horizontally, to 10 mm long.
Fruits
Urn shaped up to 12 mm long.
