Description

Plants usually solitary. Stems narrow cylindrical, 30 - 50 cm high, to 5 cm in diameter whit naked axil but densely woolly in the flowering zone. Body without latex.

Flowers

inconspicuous , greenish yellow, barely rising above the spines.

Spines

20-25 golden yellow, slightly pubescent up to 10mm long
