Description

Thelocactus wagnerianusSN|15796]]SN|15796]] is certainly close to Telocactus bicolor subsp. bolaensis but shows definite differences. It has a more slender cylindrical body, reaching 20 to 25 cm in height and plants later on will make nice clusters. The radial spines are yellowish (new spines reddish). The central spine is longer, reish to deep wine-red, circular in cross- section, not flattened. It has large attractive pink-violet and red blossoms.

Bluish-green, column-shaped, up to 20-25 cm tall and 6 cm indiameter.
