This plant is recognizable for the tubercles about 7 mm long by 1,8 mm in diameter at tip, and 3-5 mm broad at base, slender, somewhat angled, bright greyish green;
Crested Growth
There are some different crested clones available in the trade.
Radial Spines
Few short, 2 mm long, white deflexed in lower portion of areole, perpendicular to axis of tubercle; occasionally present also in adult specimens but deciduous.
