Description
Plants obtained by controlled pollination of ♀Astrophytum myriostigma x ♂Astrophytum ornatumSN|3660]]SN|3660]].Many very different Astrophytum hybrids have been developed involving Aatrophytum myriostigma & Astrophytum ornatumSN|3660]]SN|3660]] and are now in cultivation. The superb feature of some of this hybrids is due to the intersection between the traits of the ancestors and make them very desirable. Ribs are sharp usually eight (like in A. ornatum) and are spineless (or whit very short spines) clearly indicating the relationship with A. myriostigma.This hybrid are strong growing. The flower are also very beautiful.
