Taproot, merging with stem forming a stout tuberous rootstock.
Tubercles
Prominent, softish, about 8 long and 4 mm in diameter, tapering cylindrical, rounded apically, without latex, axils naked.
Flowers
Funnelform, sulphur yellow, sweetly scented, not more than 2,5 cm long and approx. 18 mm in diameter at anthesis. Tepals few, fused at the base, chrome-yellow with red tips and brownish-pink stripes on the backside.
