Description

Upright green globular stems becoming cylindrical as they age with marked ribs, 20cm tall.

Flowers

55-100 mm wide, pink with a red throat from early spring to autumn.

Spines

Dense thin white radials with pinkish central spines covering the epidermis.

Ribs

8, distinct. Tubercles rounded. Areoles with glands.
